Luang Por Pae created and chanted the first amulets in BE2482 to raise fund for re-building the temple. Luang Por See of Wat Praphrang helped Luang Por Pae to create the first batch of amulets; Pra Glee Bua and Waen Chaai Ying (Man Woman Ring).

From that time onwards, Luang Por Pae became well-known as a monk who was very good in making amulet until the present days. Luang Por Pae amulets are good and well proven, many experiences from people who wear his amulets claimed that his amulets give protection and metta to the wearers. His amulets are very popular in Thailand and also in overseas.

Luang Phor Pae has passed away on 10th Feb’99 (2542) in his age of 94.

Luang Por Pae was 11 years old, he studied Pali from Pra Ah Jahn Pan and Pra Ah Jahn Pom at Wat Pigoontorng. When he was 14 years old, he went to Bangkok to studied Pali under Pra Ah Jahn Som who was a Cambodian monk at Wat Chanasongkahm. Luang Por Pae at the age of 16 years, returned to Wat Piggontorng and became a novice monk, after which he went to Wat Chaanasongkahm to further his learning in advanced Pali until the age of 22 years old …

Thai Buddha amulet - Luang Poo Suk

Luang Poo Suk was very famous for his Wichah. One of his abilties was that he could change the sizes and shapes of an object. There was one day, an large group of merchants, stopped by at Wat Pahk Klorng MaKhamTow to rest. During those days, merchants used elephants as a mean of transport as well as to carry their goods.

While the merchants wanted to cook their meals at the temple, but realised that they did not bring along enough meat. Some of the villagers, jokingly asked them why don’t they use their rifles to shoot at the pigeons at the temple, so that they could have pigeon meat for their dinner. One of the merchants took the joke seriously, and started to fire his rifle at the pigeon, but the rifle failed to fire. The villagers stopped him, and told him that Luang Poo Suk prohibit anyone to kill living things in the temple. That merchant refused to listen and seeing that the rifle failed to fire, he raised his cross-bow and fire the arrow at the pigeon. The arrow flied off, but dropped at a short distance, without hitting the pigeon. This merchant became very angry and started to shout: “The abbot of this temple has what great power?”

Luang Poo Suk as if he could hear the merchant from his KuTi(hut) far away, he came out from his kuti with hands carrying an empty coconut husk. Luang Poo Suk went to the gazing field. He chanted a certain kathah on to the coconut husk, and then point towards the direction where the merchants’ elephants were gazing. Miraculously, the elephants were reduced into houseflies and Luang Poo Suk covered the houseflies with the empty coconut husk.

Luang Poo Suk Gesaroh Wat Makhamtow passed away on 21st January BE2466 at the age of 76.

Pra Kru WiMonKuNaGon or Luang Poo Suk GeSaRoh was borned at Moo Bahn Pahk Klorng MaKhamTow, Ampher WatSing, Jangwat ChaaiNaht. His father was named Nuam and mother was Torng Dee. He was borned on 14th October BE2390 during the 4th King Regime.

Luang Por Koon Wat Bahn Rai

When Luang Por Koon was 7 years old , his grandfather brought him to study Thai and Pali under Ah Jahn Cheum, Ah Jahn Saai and Pra Ah Jahn Lee in a temple near his house.

Luang Por Koon was ordained as a monk at the age of 21 years old at Wat Thanon HakYai on 5th May BE2487. Pra Kru Wijahn Dtigit was the preceptor. Pra Kru Atigahn Torng Suk was his dhamma teacher. His monk’s name is Pisuttoh.

Luang Por Koon stayed in Wat Thanon HakYai to study dhamma, in addition Luang Por Koon also learned under Luang Daeng Wat Nong Poh. He learned dhamma, sammahdti and Wichah (magic) from Luang Por Daeng. Luang Por Koon was very diligent when studied under Luang Por Daeng. Seeing that Luang Por Koon was so keen in learning, Luang Por Daeng brought Luang Por Koon to meet Luang Por Kong who was the abbot of Wat HatYai. Then, Luang Por Koon became the disciple of Luang Por Kong.

Luang Por Kong was a Pra Tudong (forest monk) and brought Luang Por Koon to Tudong (forest dwelling). Besides dhamma and sammahdti, Luang Por Kong also taught Luang Por Koon Wichah (magic) on inserting Dtagru into a person’s arm.

After learning from Luang Por Kong for some time, Luang Por Koon went Tudong alone. He went as far as Laos and Cambodia. He stayed in the deep forests of Laos and Cambodia for many years. During the rainy season, if Luang Por Koon was near town, he would stayed in any one of the temple near town to Khow Pansah (rainy season for a monk to stay indoors), if he was still in the forest, he would stay in the forest and continue his Tudong.

Luang Por Koon was borned on Thursday, 4th October BE2466. He was raised in a well off family. His grandfather was an influential person and very well-known in Nakon Raatchaseemah province. He also known to have Wichah (magic power), and many people were afraid of him.

Luang Por Kasem Kemagoh

Luang Por Kasem continue his learning in dhamma and sammahdti practise even when he was the abbot. The more he trained, the more realised that life is uncertain. His duties as the abbot, kept him rather busy and finally in BE2492, he left Wat Bunyeun, and went to stay at Sasahn Sahlahwangthan (a cementry at another place in Lampang). Luang Por Kasem was determined to practise the highest sammahdti at the cementry. He would sit in front of the burial place and watch the burning of corpse. Whether in hot sun or raining, Luang Por would just sit quietly and watched the corpse being burned to ashes.

Luang Por Kasem ever sat in sammahdti for as long as 3 months, without shelter under hot sun or heavy rain. Even his robes were wet by the rain or during cold season, when the cold wind blows, Luang Por Kasem would just sit quietly and not complain and asked for anything.

He had let go of everything and steadfast in his practise of dhamma and sammahdti. He ever go without food for 49 days.

Since BE2514, Luang Por Kasem only bathed once a year, but there is no stench or foul odour from his body, even his sweat was pouring under the hot sun. More surprisingly, without shelter and mosquito net, Luang Por Kasem never suffered a bite from mosquito at the cementry.

Luang Por Kasem Kemagoh passed away in BE2538 at the age of 83.

Luang Por Kasem was born on Wednesday, 28th November BE2455 in Jangwat Lampang. Luang Por Kasem was the descendants of Lampang’s King from Lanna Period.
